As a NAPS and NATS TPA, BISAFE works closely with organizations to facilitate apprenticeship programs as per the guidelines set by the government. We assist in the entire process, from registration to training and certification, ensuring compliance and effective implementation of apprenticeship schemes. Our aim is to bridge the skill gap between industries and the workforce by promoting apprenticeship programs.
The National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) is an initiative by the Government of India designed to encourage employers to engage apprentices and boost the availability of a skilled workforce. Launched with the objective of addressing the skill gap in various industries, NAPS offers financial incentives to employers, covering 25% of the prescribed stipend up to INR 1,500 per month per apprentice, and sharing the cost of basic training up to INR 7,500 for three months per apprentice.
The scheme targets any business, trade, service, or manufacturing entity with six or more employees, promoting flexible training durations tailored to industry needs. Apprentices aged 14 and above, meeting educational qualifications, can enroll and benefit from hands-on training and industry-recognized certification upon completion. Employers benefit from reduced training costs and access to a skilled workforce, while apprentices gain valuable practical experience and improved job prospects.
By participating in NAPS, organizations contribute to national skill development efforts, ensuring economic growth and workforce readiness. For more information, registration details, and implementation assistance, BISAFE serves as a dedicated Third Party Aggregator (TPA), supporting organizations throughout the apprenticeship process to ensure compliance and effective execution.
